MODESTE ist der Name eines Geflüchteten, der 2015 aus Zentralafrika nach Landau kam.
Die Band bettet ihre Hochs und Tiefs
unverblümt in elektronischen, atmosphärischen und gelegentlich progressiven Rock ein - ab und an mit einer gesunden Prise Zynismus.
Am 14. Oktober 2018 veröffentlichten die vier Landauer ihre Single „Alles in Scherben“. Am 21. Dezember 2018 erschien die EP "Landale".
